As a personal development coach with an integrated lifestyle of health and fitness, triathlon was intrinsic to my daily routine. Starting off in 2016 I have raced in two countries and after attaining an All World Athlete status in 2018, I then turned my focus to helping others cross the finish line in an unofficial capacity.
In 2019 I became a Certified Ironman Coach and integrated crossing the finish line with my personal development coaching program. Being in recovery for 9 years, Ironman was a VERY big part of my transformation and still is.
In 2022 I completed 2 Full Ironman distance triathlons back2back, one day after the other, leveraging key fundamentals from Strength and Conditioning, which is the foundation of my coaching philosophy.

I am an active coach which means I still race, both 70.3 and full distance with a keen emphasis on full distance.
I like to keep my athletes motivated by building a collaborative, 1on1 relationship so that we can set challenges and reach goals. I believe in staying motivated throughout the training program and I believe that motivation is key in reaching goals that we will set together. I emphasise the word ‘together’ because I throw myself into this collaboration 100%.
My approach is athlete-centric and all forms of training and annual calendar preparation is done with respect towards personal dynamics whilst keeping focus on the areas that we do have control over. I believe in the science of performance, recovery and visualisation coupled with positive self-talk. The Ironman training plan methodology is a sound foundation, upon which any circumstance can be moulded. Ironman is an incredible journey and the gifts that come out of giving yourself to a multi-discipline sport like triathlon is never-ending. It’s hard, time consuming and often termed “the lonely sport” but there is a special connection with one-self during all the different intervals and training sessions and I approach each week of training with unique attention.
Communication is a key component and TrainingPeaks will be the primary foundation of communication, analysis, and monitoring. Weekly Zoom calls will allow for TrainingPeaks feedback along with Unlimited WhatsApp and Email correspondence. Depending on the package chosen either 1on1 monthly or weekly meetings will be used for local athletes. Either TrainingPeaks Basic or Premium is available again depending on the package chosen. Analysis is a key component to the beginning of the athlete-coach relationship, whether in a virtual or local capacity, we will do all 4 assessments i.e. Swim / Bike / Run / Strength and Conditioning. Accurate yet agile training plans are then created upon which an annual calendar is prepared. That then becomes our sole focus as we work close together to reach your goal. Nutritional advice is also given and integrated into the training plan.
